EABCT Conference - Glasgow, SCOTLAND

In September, 2025, Dr. Lata McGinn gave an Invited In-Congress Workshop at the annual European Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT). Over 2,500 clinicians, researchers and students from around the world attended the 4 day conference in person and approximately 4,000 including those who attended virtually.

Dr. McGinn's in-congress workshop on evidence-based CBT strategies was titled “OCD Unlocked: Evidence-Based CBT Strategies for Immediate Impact”. She was also a panelist on a clinical round table titled “Doing More with Less: Using Low intensity, digital and task shifting approaches to improve access to psychological therapies globally” and on a symposium titled "Training and Credentialing Standards in CBT.”.

The conference also provided an opportunity for Dr. McGinn —in her capacity as President of the WCCBT (World Confederation of CBT) — to have a meeting of the WCCBT Board whose members hail from Asia, Australasia, Europe, North America, and South America.
